touching land [floor work and videos, 2005]
An installation of two videoworks [Flight and Spectacle] and a walk-through floor work [Wall of Prayer] addressing issues of land, constructed in the Chapter House of the Canterbury Cathedral, UK. The work was constructed around the Gothic setting of the chapter house where monks used to gather for daily Bible readings (close to the historic spot of Thomas Becket's slaying). The floor installation consisted of eighty-four "pages" from recent war and terror events.
